MIRABILAE: THE SACRIFICE

Part of (what I hoped) would be a series of images of the Templarate performing various "miraclous" deeds. This one is titled "The Sacrifice."

The artwork is low saturation with stylized gold details. Vormav Tingel slits his son Izlude's throat, pinning him down in a fashion reminiscent of Caravaggio's 'The Sacrifice of Isaac.' A ramlike creature--Belias--stands nearby.
