CHAPTER I: BATTLE AT ORBONNE ABBEY

AGRIAS: The crest of the Black Lion!? What's wrong with Prince Goltana!? He's such an idiot! Does he want to start a war!?

GOLTANA KNIGHT: Knave! There's no point in resisting! Just give us the Princess, or that beautiful face of yours will be scarred forever!

[Ramza, Rad, and Gafgarion enter the scene.]

GAFGARION: Fool! Only idiots attack head on!

[Agrias steps forward.]

AGRIAS: Leave this to us!

GAFGARION: We can't make money that way! Rad, Ramza! Follow me!!



[BATTLE BEGINS]



GAFGARION: Kill them all! Don't leave any survivors!

[Agrias turns to him.]

AGRIAS: Nonsense! There's no need to kill them! That's just what Goltana wants us to do! Just let them go!

[Gafgarion turns to respond.]

GAFGARION: That's impossible!



[BATTLE ENDS]



[There is the sound of a woman screaming.]

OVELIA: Let go of me!

[Everyone turns to look.]

AGRIAS: Damn!!

[Agrias rushes into the monastery. The view shifts to show a knight dragging the bound princess Ovelia out the back door.]

KNIGHT: Come here! Be quiet!!

OVELIA: Why should I listen to you!?

[She struggles against her bonds.]

KNIGHT: What an annoying Princess.

[He punches her in the gut, slings her over his shoulder and carries her to a waiting chocobo. Agrias rushes out to address him.]

AGRIAS: Wait!!

KNIGHT: Tough...Don't blame us. Blame yourself or God.

[The chocobo speeds off into the distance. Agrias sinks to the ground.]

AGRIAS: Oh, God......

[Ramza walks towards her and then looks towards the direction of the departing rider.]

RAMZA:...Delita?? You're alive, Delita? But, why are you in Goltana's troops? Why...?
