CHAPTER II: CARDINAL'S ANGER

[Gafgarion, Draclau, and Rudvich meet together at Lionel Castle.]

GAFGARION: You're using the princess as bait to get the stone back? That's not some thing a holyman [sic] would do.

[Rudvich turns to him]

RUDVICH: Bastard! Things would've been fine if you hadn't let them escape!

GAFGARION: There were some mistakes, but it wasn't my fault!

[Rudvich turns to Draclau as he interjects.]

DRACLAU: Enough, Rudvich. I'll return Ovelia to Dycedarg as promised. It was our intention, too. But don't you need to get rid of those who know about the kidnapping? The thief who stole the stone is with them. You can catch them all by using the Princess as bait. 2 birds with one stone.

GAFGARION: Exactly. But what if...?

DRACLAU: You are being weak.

[Gafgarion gestures with his hand.]

GAFGARION: 'Careful' is more like it. You've got to be careful to survive on a battlefield.

DRACLAU: All right. I'll make sure you're protected. Also, we'll prepare bait just in case.

[Gafgarion raises a hand.]

GAFGARION: Good. The woman will make perfect bait. I'll get rid of them. I'm more reliable then him!

[Rudvich turns to him.]

RUDVICH: How dare you!

DRACLAU: Fine. I'll leave it to you.

[Rudvich turns to Draclau, throwing up his hands.]

RUDVICH: Are you serious?

DRACLAU: Don't let me down, Gafgarion.

[Rudvich looks towards Gafgarion.]

GAFGARION: No problem. I'll even get the stone back!

[Gafgarion leaves. Rudvich turns to the Cardinal once more with outstretched arms.]

RUDVICH: Why him...?

[Draclau stands up and approaches him.]

DRACLAU: You failed enough. Now you must take responsibility...

RUDVICH: W, What...?

[Draclau continues to approach. The camera pans up, and the screen turns red as a scream is heard.]
