[The scene shifts to the papal chambers where Funeral lies on the floor. It is dusk.]

FUNERAL: ...somebody...

[Ramza walks over and kneels before the fallen man.]

RAMZA: How awful.

[Trembling, Funeral reaches a hand towards Ramza.]

FUNERAL: Help...hel...p...

RAMZA: Hold on...hold on!

FUNERAL: Sh...shr...shrine...

RAMZA: You know where they went? Where? Where did they go?

FUNERAL: Or...Orbon...ne...

[Funeral's hand convulses before his body goes still.]

RAMZA: Orbonne Monastery...

[Ramza walks away.]
