CHAPTER IV: A MAN WITH THE HOLY STONE



『A man with the Holy Stone: Orlandu, returning to Zeltennia Castle from the front, was welcomed by Olan. Olan updated his father on incidents occuring in the kingdom, while searching for the sone, and the ambitions of the Church and the Temple Knights. Staring at the 'Libra' stone, Orlandu sensed the battles to come...』



[In a chamber decked in Nanten colors, Orlandu looks out a window towards the sunlit sky. Olan approachs from behind him.]

OLAN: Welcome back, father!

[Orlandu turns.]

ORLANDU: Yes...How are you, Olan?

[The two meet one another in the center of the room.]

OLAN: Fine. How was the front?

ORLANDU: You know, it's really horrible. You have to keep an eye on your own men...My reputation is shot...Ha, ha, ha.

OLAN: Hah...Your reputation? What about Goltana's? Everyone says it's because of you that the other generals are still here.

ORLANDU: Pledging life-long loyalty. That's the Orlandu way... Watch what you say.

OLAN: I'm sorry... I'll be careful from now on.

ORLANDU: Alright...what about the other matter?

OLAN: The crystal-like stone was found in Goug. Another was found by the late Cardinal at the end of the War. The Shrine Knights have been active, but we don't know their plans yet.

ORLANDU: What about the spy we sent into Murond?

OLAN: Unfortunately... We'd like some proof of the High Priest's plot and move into peace...

[Orlandu walks towards the window. He holds a zodiac stone aloft and looks at it sparkle in the light.]

ORLANDU: They'll find out sooner or later. Then there will be real war.
